We thank you for participating in the ensuing election to the Council and Regional Councils to be held in December 2021.

 

As you are aware the last date and time to submit election nomination form at the designated office was up to 6.00 p.m. of 22nd September 2021.  Accordingly, the list of candidates region wise, in alphabetical order, whose nomination form has been received by the Returning Officer within the prescribed time limit has already been hosted on www.icai.org under the link election 2021.   

 

As you are also aware,  the Returning Officer in accordance with the Chartered Accountants (Election to the Council) Rules, 2006 will be preparing region wise booklet containing biodata of candidates whose name is included in the final list of candidates and send respective region wise booklet to all the contesting candidates and voters of the relevant constituency. Kindly note that photograph is being asked from all candidates whose name is appearing in the list of nominations received up to 22nd September 2021 however one has to wait for the list of valid nominations to be issued on 7^th October 2021 for the purpose of ascertaining eligibility to contest.

 

In order to meet the tight deadlines, you are requested to send us, for our preparatory work,  a soft copy of your coloured photograph  (passport size HDR quality photo) by email to  [email protected] indicating therein your name with membership number and the region to which you belong as early as possible but latest by 6th October 2021. In case of non receipt of the same, your photo pasted on the nomination form will be used.  Kindly save your photo file with name and membership and attach the same with the email.  The photograph preferably should be the same which you have pasted on the nomination form, as far as possible.
